Where are you located?

Why does the Flying Dress experience cost what it does?
Great question! We completely understand that it may seem like a big investment, so here’s a little insight into what goes into creating your experience.
A standalone photographer in Queenstown typically starts at around $650. Hiring a specialty dress can cost up to $550, and each of our flying dresses is handcrafted. The fabric alone is around $1,000, and the time and skill required to make them is significant.
On top of that, there are essential business costs: New Zealand taxes, an assistant to help fly the dress, fuel to reach our beautiful locations, advertising, equipment, and, of course, all the time we spend planning, communicating, and preparing your session.
When you add everything up, the true cost of the experience is much higher, but we intentionally keep our pricing as affordable as possible so you can enjoy something magical without the full industry markup.
We pride ourselves on offering exceptional value while delivering a luxury, once-in-a-lifetime Queenstown experience.
What is the My Flying Dress Photoshoot experience?
The Queenstown Flying Dress Photoshoot offers a luxurious and empowering photography experience featuring flowing dresses in stunning locations such as Queenstown and the Mountains. It's designed to capture beautiful, magazine worthy images while celebrating confidence and individuality.
Is there a deposit required to secure a booking?
Yes, to secure your booking at Queenstown Flying Dress, we require a full payment or 50% at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable on arrival. We accept payment by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer. If you need to cancel your booking, please see our cancellation policy for details on refunds.
What is the cancellation & Refund policy?
In the event of bad weather, Queenstown Flying Dress will notify you and provide the option of moving to an indoor location, rebooking or receiving a full refund.
Cancellations within 24 hours of the photoshoot are non-refundable.
No-shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Once full services have been delivered, no refunds will be issued.
If you are feeling unwell, please let us know so we can rebook your session — we want you to feel fabulous on the day of your shoot.
Copyright
All photographs and videos produced by Queenstown Flying Dress remain the copyright of the company. A licence agreement exists between Queenstown Flying Dress and the respective photographer/videographer.
Such footage may be used by Queenstown Flying Dress for marketing, promotional, and reproduction purposes. Purchasers or recipients may use the footage/photos for private or domestic use only, and they must not be reproduced, sold, or used for any commercial purpose (including supplier promotion) without prior written permission from Queenstown Flying Dress.
If you do not wish for your photographs or videos to be used on Queenstown Flying Dress social media platforms or in company marketing, you must advise us in writing.
